Multi-Award Winning Keenan Recruitment has been selected to recruit on behalf of our Client for a full time Band 8A Senior Logistics Manager.
Based: Boucher Crescent, Belfast, BT12 6HU.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
Contract: 6 months (with possible extension).
Salary: £45,753 Band 8A.
JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client provide a dedicated stock service to a public service client throughout all of Northern Ireland. This role will report to the Head of Logistics and Community Support and will have direct responsibility for the main Distribution Centre based at Belfast and the Community Equipment and Continence Service based in Lisburn.
You will provide a high quality, valued service to customers, whilst meeting service delivery objectives, within agreed budgets.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Review individually, at least annually, the performance of immediately subordinate staff, provides guidance on personal development requirements and advises on and initiates, where appropriate, further training.
Maintain staff relationships and morale among the staff reporting to him/her.
Review the organisation plan and establishment level of the service for which he/she is responsible to ensure that each is consistent with achieving objectives, and recommend change where appropriate.
Delegate appropriate responsibility and authority to the level of staff within his/her control consistent with effective decision making, while retaining overall responsibility and accountability for results.
Participate, as required, in the selection and appointment of staff reporting to him/her in accordance with procedures laid down by the Trust.
Take such action as may be necessary in disciplinary matters in accordance with procedures laid down by the Organisation.
