Assistant Psychologist - Band 5

Now recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an associate Psychologist Band 5 based within a main hospital in Belfast.

About the role

You will be responsible for assisting with the provision of comprehensive, high quality and effective psychological services for people with neurological conditions within the Adult Acute Neuropsychology Services under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist.

What you need

- A minimum of 1 years' recent experience as an Assistant Psychologist with adults with neurological problems ( paid or voluntary)

- Experience of undertaking and scoring psychological, neuropsychological and cognitive assessments

- First or Upper Second Honours degree or other higher degree in Psychology with eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society

- Full UK Driving Licence*This criteria will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements

- Competent use of other IT /statistical packages e.g. SPSS, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
